Mr. Conklin gets his name in the paper by scheduling a safety jump from the school roof. However when the day arrives for him to jump he gets cold feet, fakes an injury and then tries to get someone else at Madison to do the jump in his place. Suddenly all of the male teachers are injured in some way and it is up to Miss Brooks to jump or else!

Looks and sounds so-o-o different from his character Luke, on the Real McCoys which premiered within a year or so after this show was shot. Now that's talent!
Nice sit com from the early days of TV. Well developed and interesting characters. I remember this being on TV in the afternoon when I was about ready to get shoved into the room for my (unwanted) nap. This, and Cosmo Topper.

Always a laugh
I tried to watch as many of these shows as I could catch, in the time they were broadcast, but sorry to say - I missed a few. Eve Arden, a true beauty for sure, but also very, yes very funny. Some will call this show campy, dumb, but give it a chance, it really is a fun show. All the people in it earn their pay.
